Ripley St Thomas Church of England High School (http://www.ripley.lancsngfl.ac.uk) is a large co-educational Christian school, with "Sixth Form" (years 12 & 13), in Lancaster. It has its own Chapel, a farm where students may learn animal husbandry, and has modern IT facilities. It is worth a look round the School if your children are approaching secondary school age, or wish to transfer to the sixth form. The Web site has been revised again, and changed to a different ISP.
SPCK - the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge - is the oldest Anglican mission agency and works with Christians of all denominations to help people grow in the Christian faith. Founded in 1698, their Patron is Her Majesty the Queen.
St Thomas' Church, for information about our evangelical tradition and modern Youth Services in Lancaster. Fair Trade shop too!
York Minster - this official site is well worth a visit, as of course is the Minster itself if you can get to York. This is the historic seat of the Archbishop of York - the spiritual leader of the Church in the North of England.
Kendal Parish Church - in Cumbria is another Church well worth a visit. (It's nearly as wide as York Minster !)

Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway is a treat not to be missed if you're in the North West of England. Open-top and closed passenger carriages, often pulled by steam locomotives, this narrow gauge railway (railroad) goes through beautiful mid-Cumbrian countryside and you can break your journey at intermediate stations to look round. Website includes English, French, German and Japanese pages.

The Search Engine Tutorial Meta Medic (setsimjr), is a combination webspider and syntax checker. Simply give this application your url, and it will generate a report on your meta tags.
This freeware version will provide you with some basic checking on your meta tags. You will learn if your tags are too big, or you repeat them too many times, it even contains error checking for some of the more common errors
If you have a web page about a specific geographical area, you could let people find it more easily with
Geo Tag It's a Meta Tag to identify the geographical area covered by your web page.
Put this Meta Tag in your page header along with the others - it won't affect the effects of any other Meta Tags.
